Do you know what you need in your bathroom? You need Jim Davis’s 18thGarfield comic strip collection, Garfield Goes to Waist. I know you need this, because my husband recently left his copy in ours (out of his vast collection of them), and now I know that it was what I needed, too.
I’m leaning toward the former on this, especially after reading about the good natured response the kid gave. But for a shy kid like me who already got teased about her hair, where she lived, and pretty much everything else, it probably would have been a nightmare. My dad worked out all the time when I was a kid—he was a carpenter—and my friends actually had crushes on him, which was embarrassing enough for me.
