A UK Man Mistakes the Full Moon For a UFO!

"You're not going to believe this...but it's the moon."

Was he drunk or what? Recently a man in the UK called the emergency operator to report a UFO and it actually turned out to be the full moon!

This is what he said in part to the 9-9-9 emergency operator (Americans can note that 9-9-9 is the equivalent of our 9-1-1 call):

"...there's something flying over our house. Um, It's coming towards me now, there's all this light blazing. I don't know what the hell it is!"

But later he calls back and says, ""You're not going to believe this...but it's the moon."

This caused quite a stir among emergency personnel who believed the man was making a prank call. However, he insisted he was not and it was just a mistake.

Discoveries of the Past that Make You Laugh

I never even realized how funny Leslie Nielson is...

Do you like to laugh? Of course you do but sometimes no one does a single thing that's funny. Not to worry, I now have a solution with a TV, a movie and some chocolate.

I often prefer newer comedies like The Other Guys, Hangover 1 or 2 and Bad Teacher. I tend to have a habit of leaving the old comedies behind, that was until yesterday when I came across an old dvd set of all of the Naked Gun movies that my mother-n-law had. Now I haven't watched all of them yet, but I do plan to. The actor Leslie Nielson, I never even realized how funny he was. If you have ignored this actor as I have, do yourself a favor and don't walk, run to the movie store.

If you're wondering what to expect, you'll get this crazy incompetent cop that has one mishap after another. If you really think about it, it's one of the basis that great comedies are made of. I mean after all we all love laughing at the mishaps of others. I'll have to be sure to think my mother-n-law for these movies.

Start Planning Your Halloween Practical Jokes!

Sure, it’s only October 1st, but if you wait too long it’ll be Halloween before you know it and, bam—you’ll have no jokes planned! And how much fun will that be?

Many people save their practical jokes for April Fool’s, but why limit pranks to one day a year? Halloween is the perfect time to scare people, so now is the time to start planning! Here are a few ideas…

Get yourself a great mask. Use it all you can this month—scare people in the bathroom like Ellen has done, or jump out at friends from the bushes. A Gumby character, of all things, scared me when I thought it was a mannequin last year at a Spirit store, so it doesn’t even have to be scary. Just make sure it’s a big surprise!
